It seems Tik Tok will be non-gtrata for their refusal to allow western opinions to be posted, and only toeing the Kremiln line, and if the preception that any company with any ties to China is an 'enemy' catches on we could be looking at turbulent times ahead. I hope not, and I can see that the company would not want to PO the Chinese by making any statement that could be construed as criticism of the Xi et al, but therein lies the nub of the problem.
I think that what we are witnessing is China assessing the sanctions on Russia and developing a sanction proof economy, by diversifying to Russia, India, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, for when they attack Taiwan. This is the future, and what is really happening is that the west is not isolating Russia and China, but they are isolating themselves from the rest of the world. TNT looks very strong in that scenario.
