Voted For Transaction

By now you should have received your proxy.  I believe I received my proxy last week and I did vote, in line with my posts, in favor of the transaction.

Just as Mr. Beaty, I plan on holding my new shares in Innergex (INE) for the long-term.  INE seems (at first glance) to be disciplined.  I don't see many of AXY's board members (only 1 gets invited anyway) surviving and I am not certian many of AXY's management team will be around for the long-term (styles appear to be different - culture).

I will re-adjust my INE target for the AXY price targets I had, but I get over an 8% dividend yield (on my cost basis) while I wait.

I encourage you to exercise your right to vote as well.

I voted to sell. But does anyone know what happens to any fractional shares in the 1 to 0.5563 share conversion? Under my current holdings, I'll have about 0.8 of a share hanging...will it convert to cash, or an actual fraction of a share? If I buy about 150 more shares, I'll only have about 0.01 of a share left over in the conversion. I might do that anyway...

What will be the process for opting to take 1: all shares in Innergex or 2: split between shares and cash will there be an on-line form to fill out?

Bold Forbes did you do the math... I was a large holder ( sold 60%) already. But did keep my 40 percent just in case, I may think of buying now. Did you look at the balance sheet what a big difference on the on total equity that 3 months previous. I think they are selling to cheap and will vote against. Did you see the packages they are getting and what Beaty is getting as a bonus, he was already ...more

Newstock44, I hear you loud and clear!  I am voting for the transaction, because I was a part of the less than 1% who voted against the board this year (except for Mr. Beaty).  You can go back and read into my frustration from a year ago and earlier this year.  The combination allows me to be a part of what appears to be a better management team and larger organization.  What ...more

Newstock44, You might have been the only one who voted against... "99.89% of the Alterra shares represented at Alterra's special meeting of shareholders held today were voted in favour of the special resolution approving the Arrangement. " https://finance.yahoo.com/news/alterra-power-corp-announces-shareholder-235800952.html 60,120,000 shares x 0.11% = only 66,132 voted against.. ...more

BF I would say about half but thought there might have been another deal, guess I was thinking they were just about to explode and thought 8.25 was too low, the stock was trading at 7.20 less than a year ago and thought things were looking real good, I have excepted the new version of Axy and realize .5563 may get a bit better next year and yes I will be getting the dividend cheers. 44
