I am invested in spa.v. A multimillion ounce deposit in Canada trading at a really cheap market cap. Curious if anyone here has other juniors with proven deposits trading extremely cheap. Cheers

I don't recall seeing something that PInetree supports the takeover, other that they have a rep on the board. Pinetree needs the cash, they sold a great majority of their assets from Dec/14 to Mar ...more

The only thing we know for certain is that Pinetree fully support the takeover. Did they instigate it? My guess is yes because Pinetree are desperate to get out of highly speculative gold plays at any ...more

Pinetree Capital have about 14% of the float and their average SP cost is about 34 CENTS, so I really don’t think they put much pressure on the board to sell @ 10 CENTS.

Pinetree have sold out - they are the biggest backers for the takeover - it is most likely their pressure which caused a 10 cent deal. They would simply need to tell the board that they had offered ...more

As per their holdings dated March 31, 2015 Pinetree Capital didn't selloff their 23,750,000 holding of Mega. Caldwell was the big loser a couple months ago.
