Hmmmm, not entirely sure why at this stage one would be interested in shorting this, unless you’re gambling the deal gets kebashed, which is possible, but unlikely.

For a long-suffering shareholder, this is the stock only a mama would love, although the Chidliak pipe at about $150/carat (US) is almost twice that of Victor Mine's $80/carat

I doubt it. De beers will absorb this in its entirety wiith public knowledge as a need to know basis. Rio rinto would probably just sell it to De Beers if they wanted out of the space. Washington
