Value of U debentures

The value of the U debentures, if the "offer" by Invesque is accepted, is estimated to be about $80 per $100. Bad offer considering the debentures were valued over $90 (before the offer), so ...more

RE:RE:My vote against the debentures amendment is in...

They aren't exactly clear about what happens. They will find another way to pay for it, which could include issuing shares. That being said, they also mention they could replace the debt, pay in ...more

My vote against the debentures amendment is in...

Hopefully, there are enough votes against so that they come up with a better offer or else come up with a different way of financing this. I think their poor offer reflects badly on how they treat ...more

Market doesn't like the offer for the 5% debentures

The market's reaction seems to indicate that the offer is not well received. There is literally no buying pressure for the "U" series since this morning. Hopefully, enough holders ...more

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Special meeting of debenture holders

RE:RE:RE:RE:Special meeting of debenture holders

Makes total sense what you are saying, IF you only hold their debentures. But I'm also holding some common and suddenly it's not that simple anymore. Redeeming now and then have a cash crunch ...more

RE:RE:RE:Special meeting of debenture holders

I looked up and there doesn't seem to be any one big holder. So if the smaller owners vote "no" (in a proportion of 33.3%+), they will have to redeem it. They probably want to keep a ...more

RE:RE:Special meeting of debenture holders

Well, I owe like 0.15% and was planning to get my money and move on as well. Questions is who owes the rest 99%? :) They will redeem $10M of debenures though. Anyway, what are the possible reasons ...more

The terms just came out and imo, they are pretty bad. I'll vote against the proposal. The interest rate is 6.25% while you can have an effective interest rate of around 8% (+ potential capital ...more
