That should have said $4.85 CN not $3.85. Australian market is open and the trading halt on RMS appears to have been lifted. I have not seen any announcements. I guess it is now wait and see.

Regardless of the $3.85 being cash or stock , it is approx. 20% below Friday's closing price so no it wouldn't make any sense as it's a takeunder not a takeover in that scenario. You give ...more

Messed around with some numbers. If my calculations are accurate, and the number is one billion, one share of KRR should be worth close to 3.5 shares of RMS. That works out to approximately $3.85 CN ...more

Amishelvis, It's interesting that you mention KRR as having a better runway/future. RMS has stated that is exactly why they are after Karora. Their reserves are getting depleted.
