Lifecos pullback.... LFE down a few pennies at the close.

No updated numbers from Quadravest as yet, so will get a proper read on the valuation when we see that.

Well so far this am the LIFECOS doing better than the banks. I believe that trend will continue, as interest rate cuts look as tho they might not happen until the fall now... I sold some FTN this am ...more

Sun Life is second biggest holding I believe

And Sun Life was chosen by the Canadian Government to handle the Government Senior Dental Plan. It should start in May. The Government Account should benefit Sun Life, and LFE. So there's that!

Big volume today as buyers lick up the shares

NAT BANK for some reason selling it hard, must not follow SH numbers that are posted. ANON  buying which is generally shorties covering, or someone paying extra to have their Broker's   ...more

But still plenty of room above 15% threshhold.  Will give the proper numbers at the end of trading for most of these i follow.

Did not see the FFN sell so I had some powder laying about, and bought another 4 K.... best deal out there imo, but I am biased as I like the lifecos more than the banks.

LFE unit nav with 45 minutes left March 15=$15.31

Spreadsheet now showing a gain of 41 cents since the feb 29 update. Huge discount for a paying split fund common with the last trade @ $4.77 ,, real value is $5.31 so over a 10% discount...! Might ...more
