RE:IAG getting hammered

I just have a few LFE and waiting for a super discount to pick up more. I'm hoping for $2.50 to $260.

IAG getting hammered

I wonder if the rest of the Life Co.'s will get hit big later. Over 8% is a huge drop!

RE:RE:Still trading at a 20% discount to NAV!!!

On top of the bank exposure in LFE, another negative is the high payout to the preferreds. Paying out 8% to the preferreds somewhat  limits how quickly the the UNIT NAV can grow. LCS in ...more

RE:Still trading at a 20% discount to NAV!!!

I think the payout history of LFE , is one of the reasons for the discount. That being said i think the upside for LFE is greater than for FFN which trade at a premium with a similar UNIT NAV. LFE is ...more

It's a good thought

Because the year low is $2.20. Under 2$ would be a steal of a deal for sure. At this point in time, I don't know if it's going there. Time will tell.

Bidding under $2

Since LFE is such a stinker at paying distributions, I look to LFE for capital gains only. To make it worthwhile though I'm only a buyer of the shares under $2. This has always worked well for me.
