I have always played LFE for cap gains only. When it begins it pay, that's a sell signal for me. History has shown the odds are better to dump it once it gets to paying distributions and rebuying ...more

Safe to say that the chances of LFE getting back to paying commons distributions is getting very low.

Spreadsheet lost 5 cents since FEB 28th UNIT NAV @ $14.33

So to March 03 the UNIT NAV now @ $14.33 and the commons then @ 4.33 value. The bottom 7 holdings did not contribute any positive moves...and of the top 4  only SLF, GWO  and MFC were up ...more

LFE unit nav came in @ $14.38 to Feb 28

So wasnt nearly as high as my estimates. But good reason for that, LFE has changed up the % of each holding, making the order as follows: according to Sedar filing . MFC 30.5% SLF   27% IAG   ...more

Insurance Cos doing well
