Will LFE pull off a Feb. distribution?

So far today the NAV has risen, there isn' t a large cushion but it looks promising to hold above the $15 threshold again. I picked up a small position this morning.

LFE unit nav loses 26 cents today

So on Friday the unit nav was $15.46 at the close and today is now $ 15.20. If we get a bounce back day, LFE looks ok to pay,,, but IF we see another big down day... LFE could lose a lot of elevation ...more

LFE realtime UNIT NAV = $15.22

SO,  nav is dropping fast as the markets correct, financials and otherwise. When the fear hits, doesnt matter about profits or EPS, its profittaking time.

Apparently MFC and SLF had losses because the increase in mortality because of Covid. Never thought of that... Thanks for the NAV calculations.

I piled back into LFE on friday, and Ed Yardeni says we're not in a bubble and expects the market to move up in spite of the rising interest rates.

My spreadsheet still shows a gain of 10 cents since the JAN 31 update, and that puts the commons value at $5.46. Some fear-mongering in the press about Russia sure to invade Ukraine, AND One the FED ...more

LFE unit nav realtime = APPROX: $15.58

LFE unit nav did climb up over 15.60 early on this am , but has since backed off abit. STILL it is trading at about a 20 cent discount , and that is a fair bit considering a very good chance it pays ...more

SO glad i held off on buying some on the pullback, as the US markets tanked and Canada followed. But still there is 48 cents of safety remaining above the 15 $ threshhold with 3 trading sessions left ...more
