RE:RiskPeople said the same kind of things about jobs and the economy in regard to Pacific Rim's mine plans in El Salvador. It didn't matter. Politicians and courts often make decisions that have more to do with votes and power than common sense.
Maybe the Guatemalan mining industry would not be under such fire if Tahoe's leaders had handled things better.
