Nothing would change. $11 billion would be distributed among the creditors according to the order posted earlier. The money goes to the creditors, they can't skip it.

Looks very attractive here esp with last financing at 63 cts...I believe we could see 1.50 to 2 bucks if all goes well with the auction..Most of the cheap options and warrants are most likely ...more

A distribution would be in the form of a dividend which is taxed at higher rates than capital gains. Better off to sell shares and realize a capital gain than wait for a dividend.
