From what I read, the merger will still go through even if Rogers has to sell Freedom Mobile in the process.

It all depends on the regulators, I don't see rogers and shaw as competitors not like bce and telus if they tried to merge the gov would have said no by now or if they either tried to buy shaw ...more

Fine by me.   3.4% is not 16% but it will do, given the low risk utility stock.   All just my opinion/view/thinking.

I use to think SHORTS were more "Advance" Traders and

tend to have more "insight" into whatever stock they are shorting.    After all, I assume you would be shorting on GOOD Knowledge/insight to risk less control and unlimited LOSS ...more

Pros:  Dividend Yield is about 3.4%, and upside on share price only ~16% now to $40.50.    I guess you can classifiy this stock as a "utility" as such on of the "safer ...more
