I used to work at one of the 3rd party firms (Broadridge) on Long Island that handles all sorts of corporate votes.  It is handled via their website proxyvote.com.  We actually checked the ...more

There needed to be a 67% yes vote from the shareholders in order for this to get approved.  This vote passed with 76% voting yes.  10 million more shares were needed to vote no, so the vote ...more

I do not know if management can change / alter a vote that has already been cast but  I ALWAYS put MY name in the proxy so no-one can supposedly change my vote - only logical...
