High rates are causing inflation to be worse....stock market is up big because no one wants to touch bonds, plus the higher financing and cost of capital passed on to consumers by businesses.  ...more

Imagine living during the Great Depression. It wasn't until 1954 that stocks reached a new high after it plunged in 1929.

Based on historical charts of past 20 years it looks like this is one of the longest bear markets for reits,  though not as steep as gfc or covid.   Aiming for 3 years

Not liking what Im seeing on my ticker screen today, PMZ, BTB, NWH, PRV, SRU And riocan sunk.  The rest flatish

ARTIS HAS HIT MASSIVE RESISTANCE AT $6.50

Its a nice resistance marker going back to Sept, and failed twice to trend higher- WITH a NCIB going full steam.

Are on second day of a nice flop.  Shorts and algos reverse the trade yesterday at 3pm.

I just dont get

How everyone is running with some sort of cuts this year in various countries and even US by the fall and REITS cannot even get a mild slow bid going.  Talk about dysfunction!

Right on TJ- the american people are NOT happy.   5.5% rates...more like 8-9% unsecured whoever has a line of credit is getting hosed. #TRUMP2024.

Going back to last weeks bottom at 14.60. Lower high yet again.  Very weak bounce
