cash dividends in an amount of $0.04583 per Preferred share to yield 5.5% per annum on the $10 repayment amount and to return the $10 repayment amount to their holders on the termination date. Its investment objectives with respect to Class A Shares are to provide holders with regular monthly cash distribution targeted to be $0.10 per Class A share and return the original issue price to their holders on the termination date. The net asset value per unit must remain above the required $15 per unit threshold for distributions to be declared. Its investment manager is Quadravest Capital Management Inc.

I suppose it's fine since you're living there for part of the year you can fund your retirement. I'm more comfortable holding a pile of FFN prefs where my distribution rate is close to 10%

I took 50 K CAD out of the stockmarket gains and put it in a one year term deposit at my Mexico bank, @ 11.9 % before taxes . 11.5 % after taxes . More going to be going in if i can get another

DFN holdings bounced back a bit later in the day., but the NAV is still lower than it was on DEC 29... be interesting to see if Quadravest again fudges the date so commons can get paid.

Take out Rents and the CPI would be < 2% Many economists expect evidence of falling rent prices, which tend to lag other economic data points, to show up in government inflation reports in

I agree, I don't think DFN will be able to pay the dividend consistently. This is a great stock to trade though. I think we will see lots of volatility on this in 2024.

For the record, I trimmed today. No one ever lost money taking a profit. I collected the January distribution and today's shares were sold at profit. Have immediately sunk the proceeds
