Yes, Bman, 4 countries have it on the critical materials list:  Europe first, then Austraila, then United States and now Canada.  You heard it right, kind of. Anyone offer me $100 per share, they are yours....first come, first served!
Comment by Pandora on Jun 19, 2024 1:30am
Don't forget that Europe is not a country unto itself (27 countries) -- but we know what you mean.
Comment by Mostlyserious on Jun 19, 2024 7:58am
Yes, and that is why my shares can be had for $100 instead of $15. That may explain slow uptake on the offer so far.  Another piece maybe worth mentioning from the interview for those that look forward to quick commercial revenues.  A 50 TPY plant at $6,000 per ton is not really something that anyone should look forward to if you do the math.  Apparently this is "BS" that ...more

Obviously it would be to build multiple 50 tpy plants but of course that's positive and you wouldn't mention that.. seriously how do u guys get away with these posts without penalties... your basically taunting us share holders at this point... smh
Comment by Mostlyserious on Jun 19, 2024 1:04pm
I think BT would tell you that it is not "obvious" "to build multiple 50 tpy plants" and I think he used a particular acronym for this kind of thought. Simply speaking, a 50 tpy plant at $6,000 per ton generates $300,000 in revenues.  If that doesn't turn on the light bulb, think about the cost of materials, the capital cost of the plant that needs to be recoverd, the ...more

Sign a contract with a big player, put the money amount, payments and details in writing....then we can discuss what your going to build how your going to go about building it.
Comment by KrapShoet on Jun 19, 2024 4:56pm
You're quite the savvy business man. You suggest sign a contract with set prices and details and then come up with a strategy and determined costs to complete the strategy. Quite the approach   What would you base your prices and details on in the contract not knowing the costs of your strategy or the scope? Without knowing the scope or "what your going to build" or " how ...more

I think he is saying that you need money to build plants.  And when you don't have any you have to find it.  If you have some kind of an offtake agreement (look up the general definition) based on future delivery of certain product amounts, etc, then you have something to present to potential financiers. And if you have no idea of what your cost structure will be before you can ...more

Dude I'm not misinformed. I  spent a career in business and I'm an accountant.  You attempting to school me and suggesting I don't know what an off take agreement might be is....priceless. Thanks for adding some humour to my day.  How about we let him defend what he meant in his comment. You just can't get out of the way of your ego lol.

Oooooooh your an accountant wow im sorry lol.  My neighbour is an accountant but doesnt have a clue about investing so big deal man.  As for what i said earlier...yeah ...sign a contract for what ever deal your gonna make cause ya know what mr accountant?  If HPQ has what they say they have and they are talking to who they say they are talking to then you have at this point an ...more

Spent a career in business and an accountant.  Ok, without providing you my general professional resume, I consider my ego bruised. i didn't know you were testing him about offtake agreements.  My bad.  But let me acknowledge that every economist or financial analyst can use the information provided by a great accountant. As for HPQ and in case of Purevap QRR, I believe BT ...more

My point exactly...but contracts wont be signed until these technologies are a "PROVEN" threat to the targeted busnises. If they have it then show your shareholders a contract if you dont have it well then it is what it is.

I heard some U.S. politician make a remark today about the importance of Gallium in enhancing or replacing silicon in vital industries such as chipsets required for power transistors and integrated circuits. His concern was that the only place you get Gallium is China. Found this website: https://epc-co.com/epc/gallium-nitride/where-is-gan-going How does HPQ fit in this picture or is that an ...more
Comment by patience123 on Jun 19, 2024 11:03pm
Pandora,  Gallium in this scenario is used in conjunction with Silicon in integrated circuits. It is not a replacement for Silicon.  What they are using it for is the doping agent for the P/N junction in transistors and the Gate to Scource and Gate to Drain junction in MOSFETS.  Apparently it has 10 times the switching speed of the same transistors and Mosfets using standard doping ...more

Thanks Patience123. The politician was just lamenting about being dependent on China for too many rare/critical minerals.
Comment by patience123 on Jun 20, 2024 12:24pm
Your welcome Pandora.  Well it is a legitimate  concern one which is being addressed nationally.  I would comment on it further but unfortunately i'm not knowlegeable enough on the subject to really get in to it.  There are some accountants here though and they they know everything so i will leave it to them.  LOL!
Comment by CAinPlap on Jun 20, 2024 12:44pm
Accountants are a pretty smart bunch but there is the odd thing they don't know.  They know morethanmost tho   ;)
