Last financing  was at $8.95  and was not quite a year ago. NOT many shares out in this fund. Has fallen a  lot in that time. BUT that made the yield better.   Sustainable ...more

Not a real big fan of the holdings....but certainly the value is good as far as the Level of the NAV. Still havent got to reading the prospectus to see how the payout is determined...

Would love to hear your thoughts on PWI. Brompton also has OSP which it shows the NAV daily but that is so far out of the money, I would never buy it. Discount is growing on PWI with the NAV at 6 ...more

LCS unit nav reported by Brompton @ $16.13

SO the holdings backed off a bit end of day yesterday.  Still doing well staying above the 16$ level.

Hmm cant say i have followed that one, but very strange that it is THE ONLY split fund  from Brompton that calculates the NAV daily.  It does seem to be trading very close to NAV, but yield ...more

Not totally accurate. PWI is still selling at a discount to NAV at 6.35 with a NAV of 6.43 Plus Brompton updates the NAV of PWI daily so you really don't need to track it much

I have a gain of about 7 cents now since the update last thursday.  LCS contionues to trade right around NAV.. the only paying split fund common with that kind of value. ALL others  ( even ...more

No change today for LCS stil $16.03

So despite the fact that higher interest rates are great for lifecos, they didnt see that much positive action today. Actually financials didnt finish the day stroong at all.

LCS unit nav to July 121 = approx: $16.03

So after trading today LCS commons would have a value of 6.03 before payment to preferreds is accounted for. Lost 6 cents since the update on thursday.

Brompton update shows UNIT NAV for LCS @$16.09

So that would be after distributions to commons i believe as all 4 lifecos had dividends paid to LCS either at JUNE 30 th or in JUNE  at some point. Both SLF and GWO paid dividends on JUNE 30 ...more

OOPS already had accounted for distributions

So LCS unit NAV still above $16 after distributions as I had already taken off 7.5 cents for commons dist. on my spreadsheet. Should come in about $16.04 before accounting for preferreds.
