IMO its not an issue at all. Especially if a company with a high LMR takes over Zargon.   Zargon currently has an LMR of 1.18 which is above the 1 . threshold. Dec 2018 and that is up from 1 ...more

cash flow is king: - convert Debbie's - swap ND for higher cashflow cdn assets - borrow a bit within reason - shut in ASP

All companies have that issue. Cardinal likely trading at $100,000 per flowing barrel with decommissioning liabilities... or Crescent point.  Its all relative and some wells will keep flowing for ...more

Problem with these fellows that I suspect is the size of decommissioning liabilities. If you consider this as debt, then valuation moves from sub $10,000 per flowing to around $41,000. At that price ...more

As you know I follow this company a lot - the debenture extension wasn't deceitful, they probably believed (erroneously) that asset valuations and oil prices would recover and they haven't ...more

That is not the issue. I chose not to hold shares in companies that engages in deceitful dealings. They are not likely to be successful.

2017 extension was a mistake...Should have proposed 1/3 cash 2/3 shares to all and be done with it. But again the banks must have had a say in what was proposed then... The dubious is the sale of ...more
